I value physical activity and am passionate about helping individuals get the best out of themselves.
With a degree in Sports Science and Physiology I have in depth knowledge of athlete physiology and aspects of training including annual plan creation, goal setting, and nutrition for athletes.
As a triathlete myself, I have gained excellent triathlon specific knowledge, allowing me to offer technical support on performance.
I am currently a BTF Foundation Coach with Exeter Triathlon Club, where I coach adult and junior sessions and I have completed the EAL Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Maintenance.
My Story
At school I was a keen runner and loved to compete in the schools cross county. I also swam a few times a week but nothing competitive. My first experience of triathlon was a sprint aquathlon when I was 16, which was organised by my triathlon club and I loved it!
I started cycling at university and after just eight months of training I qualified for the Age Group World Standard Distance Triathlon Championships in Canada. This was hugely exciting. Unfortunately, the race was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
Whilst I studied at university, I trained with Leeds Triathlon Centre, an elite training centre for triathletes and in my final year I trained with their Development A squad. Here, I gained valuable insight into performance coaching and was inspired to set up my own business.
Since starting triathlon, I have competed in 100s of multisport events including the British Elite Senior Super Series; I have raced for a French team in the French Grand Prix; I became National Aquathlon Champion in 2021 and in 2024, I was part of the winning team at the National Triathlon Mixed Team Relay Championships!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the experiences triathlon has brought me and would like to help others find that enjoyment in sport.
